Re: Origin - new MA CBM game (Full... started)
Sorry if this disturbs you but I have currently problem with internet connection of my room. Though I can go on using it in university, it will be hard for me to catch up 24 hours interval, given the current situation in game.
Now is at turn 29, and there is many wars around. So I think I should apply for the extention of interval. 48 hrs should be better for us all.
Cheers,
BX

Re: Origin - new MA CBM game (Full... started)
True to their serpent-like nature, the Ctissians have broken their NAP with no warning in Pythium's hour of darkest need. The Emerald Empire recommends their neighbors do the same to them in the future. We have repelled their advance and will send forth the Southern Legion to supplement our diet with BBQ lizard meat.
Nevertheless, we thank them though for they have motivated us to do all we can to throw off the Ashdod invaders so that we might wreak vengeance on their slimy lizard souls.
PS Ashdod, what was your PD in that province that even my (admittedly not well-suited to be an SC) pretender could not take?

Pyth didn't really play dead. We took back what we could and then its just detrimental to have to use one's entire force of mages to counterattack since we need to keep up on research (Destruction would have been nice to get, Banner of NS would be nice too - difficult research makes all this tough though). My few Hydras got ripped to shreds - that was impressive.

Well, there might have been a bit of hyperbole in there. Pyth didn't exactly roll over and play dead, and Japan didn't exactly kick my ***. But certainly Pythium was on the losing end, and Japan was on the winning end.

Yeah, that is an elephant-killing army and so far it has done its job nicely. So I wouldn't worry about it...

Good to hear. I can't even reinforce the province of mine next to there as it has a stupid disease site in it.
How about serpentine?

21. Ashdod gets good PD. Look at that archer! I'd build real (non-PD) versions of them, but they're strat move 1 compared to strat move 3 for my supersoldiers, and their per unit upkeep is over 70% of the upkeep for a supersoldier.

Re: Origin - new MA CBM game (Full... started)
Seen as how the Pythians not only launched not one but two unprovoked attacks against Ctis right from the start of the game and only offered a peace when Ashdod began attacking them, I don't see how a limited action designed to round off Ctis's borders to make them defensible is too reprehensable... especially when the borders are such only because of Pythiums initial unprovoked attacks. Consider this payment for the destroyed temples.

Re: Origin - new MA CBM game (Full... started)
Ok, here is a strange thing though quite in line with Pyth's luck this game. The lab in my capital disappeared. No bad events and I certainly did not destroy it on my own. Went back and checked - its there in turn 28, gone in turn 29. Again, great timing since I am about to get stormed and no gems for battle.
Sigh...

Hey, Ashdod, did you get a message about lab being destroyedin my capital? Perhaps since you control the province that is what happened? If so, I have to say, your timing with bad events impacting me has been truly incredible. Hats off!

Yep. I think the Bogus attack was a significantly bigger deal though.

Re: Origin - new MA CBM game (Full... started)
Well I was hoping to summon air elementals to see how they'd work so losing the lab basically wiped out that strategy since no gem access. Hilarious...

is it possible that you accidentally set a guy to "demolish lab?"
