Question on cheat detection
Hey, just a quick question.
Does cheat detection silently hit AI players, and reduce them in some way? If so, is there leeway, or does it occur on any pretender point excess?
It doesn't report any cheating found (except for human players) that I've seen, but I'm wondering if it would affect my maps' custom AI pretenders, what with their 150-point bonuses, so I thought I'd ask to make sure.
I normally have been disabling it for my games (I don't cheat, but I do use the custom pretenders to prevent AIs from taking suicidal scales and all that), but the question hit me as I was writing a readme file for one of the maps: should I put a note advising players to disable cheat detection when using the custom-AI-pretenders maps, or is it no problem?
