Shipset Torrent Question
I'm wondering if it would be better to make the shipset megapack torrents a collection of archives, one per set, or leave them as a single archive. With the collection of archives, updating to a newer torrent version would not require redownloading everything. This would potentially make it easier to do frequent updates. However, it does make it more tedious to install the shipsets, because you can't just point the single archive at your base SE5 folder... Please vote in poll.

Re: Shipset Torrent Question
Can't you just point the collection of individual archives at your SE5\Empires folder, and extract them all at once by selecting them all, right-clicking, and doing Extract To Here? (With WinXP or any reasonably decent explorer-integrated zip program) I don't see what the problem is with the individual archives, so I'll vote for those...

Re: Shipset Torrent Question
I would prefer one big archive file. I'm not sure about those with slow internet though...

Re: Shipset Torrent Question
Can you have a selection for both options given that the choice is pretty much even?

Re: Shipset Torrent Question
Why not include them separately, and add a batch file to unpack them all?

Re: Shipset Torrent Question
As more ship sets get added, a single archive will get larger. Not everyone will want every shipset however blasphemous that may be.

Re: Shipset Torrent Question
whats the problem with putting the ship sets all in their own rar inside a directory and make a torrent for each rar and then one big torrent for the directory.

Re: Shipset Torrent Question
That would be excessive work, and would require people running 200+ torrents (in the case of SE4). You can make your torrent client only download certain files if you want to.

Re: Shipset Torrent Question
I would say go with one file.
