Null(!) space weapons
What needs to be researched before I can research Null-space weapons?
Are those the best direct fire weapons there are (unmodded)?

Re: Null(!) space weapons
ah yes, the mull space weapons. contemplative, yet indecisive. increase targets reload time as their gunners mull things over.

Re: Null(!) space weapons
Maybe Mull-space weapons are the best, better than Null-space anyway!

All weapons in SE4 have their place. The null space cannon is IMHO the most well balanced weapon in SE4, a task which MM clearly didn't take lightly. It is the equalizer for heavily defended ships. It deals some serious hurt to ordinary ships. It takes a lot of research. It only goes up 3 levels. Its range is moderate. Its slow reload makes it suicidal to use alone. It's cost in radioactives could bankrupt an empire that didn't plan to depend on it.

Re: Null(!) space weapons
Sounds deadly on SATs defending a warp point.
