Kudos to the TDM guys
Again, what would single player be without this collection? More or less nada.
My first single game in a while. Modded the planets to hold lots more pop and units, but other than that it's normal.
Large galaxy, low bonus, high difficulty...
After 57 turns, the Earth Alliance are in 1st with 1.4 million points, 84 planets and 88 ships, with damn near 500k resource production.
Whilest I am 10th out of 11, with 8 planets and 30 ships. I started out trapped between the Norak and the Vaxin. After a long war with the Vaxin, I've taken two of their planets. I am far behind in tech...even #11 is far ahead of me in tech. About to resort to pirating the Vaxin to catch up.
Will I survive? The Vaxin are smaller than I am now, but once they are gone, the next empire I face off against will no doubt double my size. Yikes.
God, I am having fun.

Re: Kudos to the TDM guys
I'll chime in my .02 here as well. Definite praise to the TDM guys. The sheer dedication to constantly upgrading/bettering thier work is amazing in itself. I know I will always recieve a challenge when I play vs one of thier AI's. When I discover a 3rd party shipset (like the Angelican Regency from UsY) that has an AI by one of the TDM guys I simply know it is a must have to my Se4 collection.
This being said I have one request, how about getting someone on your team to 'beef up' the Cryslonites and the EEE next time you update the TDM files . I'd love them to be as much of a challenge as the Xi'Chung and the Praetorians!

@Deathstalker,
Cryslonites sound interesting. Will see what I can do with them before the next update is due.

PS: Glad you enjoy my Praetorian AI

Re: Kudos to the TDM guys
You know, if you guys make all the default race's AIs kick some arse, I'm gonna have to learn DOGA and make a different shipset just to use for my race!!!

Re: Kudos to the TDM guys
Speaking of Cryslonites, even the best TDM crystall-tech race - Piyondon (sp., sorry) is a pushover. I think it is ingrated in overall weakness of how AI can use Crystal tech., I think.
