Default Never Healing Wounds

Do Never Healing Wounds now actually never heal?? I am playing 2.16, and I remember that units with recuperation would recover from them on the demo (roughly version 2.12?), but this no longer seem to be the case on 2.16. Is there another way to heal from such wounds if recuperation doesn't work?

They'll heal, but it's much less likely than for healing most other afflictions. 10% as likely sticks in my head for some reason...

Thanks! I was just about to say "nevermind, it heals after about ten rounds", so I think you're right on with 10%!
