What I\'ve been up to
So, I'm a busy little designer keener, so while playing my first full Version game using the Klingon race set mod, I decided to play around and update some images from my favorite trek game, Star Fleet Command.
I've completed the Klingons:
changes I made:
Frigate BOP mini reduced in size.
DD - The Klingons took the Romulan Bird of Prey design to the limit and actually did produce destroyer hulls on this type.
CL - Used the SFC CL, something I call the D-5, way cool portrait, a must see.
Cruiser - The workhorse cruiser for the Klingons for many years (and my fav Klingon ship) was actually the venerable D-7 and D-7A. The SFC D-7 is based on the cooler 'movie Version' D-7 and is awesome in SE4. I was also able to use the portrait from the actual game ship schematic display section in the game, so some cool Klingon writing and titling are in it.
Battlecruiser - Stuck with the Vorcha.
DN - SFC has a very cool 4 engine DN which I used.
BB - The SFC 'B-10' is big, beefy, and B*D *SS!
Other projects, no room to comment further in this post.
Klingon design names. - Added a bunch.
Klingon tech tree. Complete, adds disruptors and specialty missiles.
Romulan graphics. ToDo. Will use SFC ships.
Rommie design names. Done, spent the day in a latin dictionary.
Romulan tech tree - done. They get efficient, cheap and small cloaking devices, and custom plasma torps.
Vorlon Tech Tree. Building entire race based on Vorlon. Have completed an entire set of tech, the only one they are allowed.
Vorlon ship set. Need ship graphics, will try to use a biological ship set from my Star General game.
Fed ship set. Again, I like the SFC feds better (based primarily on ST:I-V 'movie' Fed ships)
Shadow Tech Tree. Have completed several custom techs for a planned entire race based on those famous spikey spiders from Za'hadoum. Featuring the death ray and superior technology in biological armour and warp point manipulation.
That's it for now, will keep board posted.
