Who is your favorite indy mage?
Who is your favorite indpendent mage? And why.
Mine is the sorceress. Air and astral. With a skull cap, coin and crystal shield, you can spam soul slay, plus you get wind guide, good air battle magic and you have two paths to teleport them all over the map.

Enchantress. N2### is hard to beat, since it allows for ridiculous diversification of magic. Moon Mages or, even better, Elludian Moon Mages make for some kickass artillery with some astral boosting and Nether Darts and appropriately boosted (astral), they can move large numbers of undead/demons in a hurry by gateway.
No old age either on any of those.

Enchantress, because she actually turns up in games.

Wizards!
Great magic diversity, and huge scads of research. You can't argue with that.

Re: Who is your favorite indy mage?
Amazons - what, they show up everywhere.
Regards Sombre:
I unfortunately haven't found a single blood site, despite taking a blood-heavy pretender.
I have found in about 17 prewar provinces.
Tower of the Iron Order (E2S2?1)
Tower of the Silver Order (A2S2?1)
The Inverted Tower (Illusionist, glamour stealth A2)
The Underworld (steatlh, glamoured E2N2 gnome + Trogs)
Flesh Eater's Isle (ghouls)
The Ultimate Gateway (50 conjuration)
Gateward Valley (centaur chariots)
And exceptional population types:
Elephants, Crystal Amazons, Jade Amazons, Druids
Problem is affording anything.

Searching for blood sites is a waste of time. I counted after the lastest patch and IIRC there are 4 sites that give 1 blood slave and then there is Mictlan capitol with 3 and I think there is another capitol with a blood generator.
The only viable blood is the blood hunt.
