Illwinter in America
Hi everyone!
It is getting colder. The old rimtursar are awakening in Ohio. The Illwinter is upon you.
In other words we are about to come to the states. Early tomorrow we leave for Origins.

Re: Illwinter in America
Whats the Illwinter? I saw it mentioned on angerboda's description, but I've seen no more mentions of it other than here.

Not really, but you have the Fimbulvinter ("great winter") which Lasts for three years and is a sign that Ragnarok is nigh. That can certainly be called an ill winter. Wow. You learn something new every day. I guess that explains the cold weather in WoT right now....

Re: Illwinter in America
The winter in WoT Lasts way longer than three years. Not in true Randland temporal sense, but rather due to the fact the RJ writes like a turtle runs.

Illwinter is a spell in the game; it's also the name of the developer of ... Dominions 2.
They're in America for a gaming convention.

Check out the front page:
http://www.shrapnelgames.com/Origins04/Day1.htm
Please notice the cruel demeanor of Kristoffer in his attempt to Dominion out rival god Michael Eckenfels.
There should be a Bane Lord swooping down to lay down some justice on Michael!
