Editing the selection cursor
Does anyone know if it is possible to edit the selection cursor? (the little yellowish arrows that highlight what object (planet, sun, ship, etc) you have selected in the system map screen).
I see that there is a file called select.cur in the \Pictures\Game folder, but I'm not sure how to edit that file, or if that is actually the file that is used...
Thanks!

Re: Editing the selection cursor
It is possible. Fyron's Adamant mod does it. How, I'm not sure.

Re: Editing the selection cursor
It's not a mouse cursor.
Pictures\Game\Dialogs\selection.bmp
It is no different fromany other SE bitmap file. You can use paint or just about any other image editing program.

Re: Editing the selection cursor
In the Pictures\Games directory you can find the default cursors the game uses. You can replace those either through a mod folder or just overwrite the default ones. John Beech of USY once made some nice cursors... not sure if there still Online somewhere.

It's actually a cursor file - but I'm sure there are freeware programs to edit those.

Re: Editing the selection cursor
I have the nice cursors. I think they are included in Eclipse Mod, but I can send them to someone for hosting seperatly if needed.

The little yellow arrows that highlight your selected object is indeed a bitmap. I changed it for Eclipse to a silver box like image.

Are those the ones that were in the "Ultimate Mod?"
