Fighters still don\'t use supply in combat
I tried a battle in the simulator with a figher design that had no supplies by giving it a design with no engines, just weapons and an an afterburner III. Both weapons and afterburner are supposed to consume supply. The ship moved 3 spaces per turn, just like a supplied afterburner is supposed to provide, and the weapons fired and did the damage that supplied weapons would do. I've only tried this in the simulator, maybe "real-life" fighter combat does require supply with v. 1.49 but I doubt it.
