After a quick check with Mobhack, i see that units 316 & 647 in obat 12 USA "M1A2 SEP" are concerned and have both a speed of 21
The "M1A2 SEP" present in the USMC obat 13 has speed: 22.

hope this help,

Pierre

Since the M1A2 SEP isn't actually in use by the USMC (they use an M1A1 FEP) it was probably added to the OOB as an afterthought so I'd be very leery of using the values in OOB #13 (USMC) over those in OOB #12 (US Army).

"The US Marine Corps awarded Raytheon a $32.5 million contract, with a total estimated value of $65 million with all options exercised, for the M1A1 tank Firepower Enhancement Program (FEP) on February 2, 2005. The contract included sensor kits and spares to be delivered to the US Marine Corps by July 2007. The FEP enhanced M1A1 Abrams were expected to reach IOC by 2006. Eventually, the entire USMC's M1A1 fleet (400+) could receive the FEP upgrade before October 2009. FEP focuses on improving accuracy at 24/7 all-weather conditions and the tank's engagement capability at extended ranges. Basically, FEP consists of Far Target Location (FTL) sensor and a second generation thermal sight which is an upgrade to the current M1A1 sight system. FTL sensor will enable USMC M1A1s to effectively warfighting beyond 2018. The same sensor was envisaged to be integrated into USMC LAV-25s."

The SEP in the USMC is a future weapon addition as an infantry tank but SEP in question has speed one of value for all other Abrams excluding earlier faster first model

If the information had been given clearly to start with we wouldn't have generated secondary erroneous info to confuse the issue

First...... FORGET the USMC "SEP"

Second..... the unit that started all this is #316. It has a speed of 21

Third...... an accurate " quick check " of the US OOB would have revealed to anyone that there are EIGHT ( 8 ) "SEP" versions of the Abrams in the US OOB and all but TWO( 2 ) of them have a speed of 22 and those are 316 & 647 which have a 21 speed and that's the way it should have been reported. Tossing in that the "The "M1A2 SEP" present in the USMC obat 13 has speed: 22 " only served to confuse the issue and ignored the solid fact that 3/4 of the "SEP" in the US OOB have a speed of 22.

The two that are 21 have been noted on the to do list.

OK ?

As for the USMC unit 24 then 467 represents the USMC upgrade program

Don't worry too much Pierre.
When Don sees what I've done with the TUSK version of the M1A1 in my version of the USMC OOB you'll really get to see him go ballistic

As soon as I get enough time to cross-reference every single weapon and unit against the latest update.
I want it to be able to work with existing scenarios etc as much as possible. While it's clearly impossible for it to work 100% I'd like to make it 95% compatable.
Getting the few days of free time necessary to cross-check everything and test all the existing scenarios that use the USMC isn't easy. Unlike some lucky people I don't get paid for it *grinz*.

Best guess...fall 2009.

I assume you own the Enhanced version

Add your OOB to the main Game Data/OOBs folder

Open up Scenhack and press Alt-T. That will do an automatic check of all scenarios and generate a report. Ignore the reports of "errors" for 6, 24 and 31 ( they are scenario designer mods ) Any conflicts in scenarios with your OOB will show up with that and it takes a couple of minutes. The only other conflict you'd need to check is the 5th marines campaign and how to extract the scenarios with CampaignHack and check them with scenhack is explained in that utility.

*Most* obvious problems can be caught that way (but not all.. )
