Two questions about the asian twist map.

Does this matter? What does having fresh water mean?

Quote:

Small provinces are marked with a tan triangle. Large provinces are marked with a purple triangle

What is the difference between large and small provinces?

The caves are neat.

you should post this question in the mods and map forum, not this one, which is for MP games.

however,

fresh water designation improves the chance for water sites.
Large provinces have a higher population; small, smaller.

Regarding rivers and fresh water, there was recently a thread about this in the main forums. Search for it.

Hi:

Yes. Fresh water means higher chance of water sites. The game does not otherwise indicate fresh water in a provinces (compared to forest or mountains). So, I wanted players to know.
