USSR: AT-1, SU-5 & SU-12
AT-1 (625) Constructor was the object of repression. Works with AT-1 SP-gun was over after that. A few vehicles had produced.
Remove it.

SU-5-1 (645), SU-5-3 (647) were experimental.
Remove it.
SU-5-2 (646) has 10 shells in vehicle (25 in game). There are good pictures of this SP-gun (wrong picture in the game), follow the link:

Re: USSR: AT-1, SU-5 & SU-12
Yes, I'm aware the AT-1, the SU-5-1 and the SU-5-3 were rare/experimental. There were put in because someone else thought they should be added simply becasue they existed.
I will consider moving them to a "prototype" formation but they will stay in the game.
I will correct the photo for unit 646 ( SU-5-2 ) as well as the ammo load for it However, you did not look closely at unit 623 ( SU-1-12 ) ammo load. It has 30 PLUS 10 sabot giving it 40 rounds not 30 but I will trim it down to 36 total

Re: USSR: AT-1, SU-5 & SU-12
Then it's necessary to replace these units too:
SU-3 (621) had recoilless gun with low characteristics, because it wasn't produced.
SU-4 (640), 76.2mm K/DPR RG(588) Constructor Kurchevsku was under repression.
KT-27 (620) This SP-gun had no place for gun crew.
SU-37 (627) with 45mm gun (37mm in game), SU-45 (628) had low-powered engine motor.
SU-6 (631) had low-powered engine motor.

Re: USSR: AT-1, SU-5 & SU-12
I remember reading a long time ago about a SU-45 that was build ontop a tractor that was armored. It had a single weapon 45mm tank gun model 38. It was build as a stopgap vehicle in the summer/autum of 1941 and last ones destroyed in the sring of 1942.

EDITED:
Find this on Wikipedia on it as by the name of "KhTZ-16", but I have seen it called SU-45 too. Anyhow this is probably a defferent vehicle altogether...

Re: USSR: AT-1, SU-5 & SU-12
SU-45 what I speak about was designed on the T-38 amphibious tank base in 1936.

Re: USSR: AT-1, SU-5 & SU-12
SU-5 in third versions were produced in big number (in the comprasion to another prototypes 15 to 30 pices) http://rkkaww2.armchairgeneral.com/w...tm#10.STriplex
So meaby beter is left them as front units because as we can read they wer intensive use on the front during campaign in poland in 1939 as i read in my book they fight in tank unit in the direction to Brest-Litvovsk and than in 1941 against germans during barbarossa. 11 of them was in 1941 on the Far East what sugesst they surrive first german wave and meaby last Su-5 were used last time during desperate days near Moscov?

Re: USSR: AT-1, SU-5 & SU-12
AT-1
crew in unit (625) was 3 not 4
and has two MGs not one
was produced in series 10
http://rkkaww2.armchairgeneral.com/w...htm#11.%20AT-1
first two example were build in spring 1935
What did you thing shold be in class prototype or meby as a serial produced vehicle?
About SU-37 and SU-45 prototypes they were based on T-38 chasis but that is important they never can swim like T-38
SU-3 used the same gun as SU-4 that was DRP Kurczewskij Recolies gun in game weapon 47

The factory can not produce these 10 vehicles in 1936. Constructor was repressed in 1937, works was over.

What did you think about this SU-14

It is possible to make these units manually in scenario editor. Do not add these units in OOB.

Blaze, that source you quoted says there were only 3 vehicles made of the third version of the "SU-5"
Quote:
http://rkkaww2.armchairgeneral.com/w...tm#10.STriplex
SU-5-1 (76,2 mm gun M1902/30) (1934-35) - 6 units built
SU-5-2(122mm howitzer M1910/30) (1937) - 6(?) units built
SU-5-3 (152,4 mortar M1931) (1934) - 3 units built"
Total number: 15 units, according to other source - 28-30 units (including 24 SU-5-2)
|
So were do you get "SU-5 in third versions were produced in big number (in the comprasion to another prototypes 15 to 30 pices) "
Nothing says there were more than 3. The highest number of vehicles made was the SU-5-2 with 6 and maybe as many as 24 so from what I see the SU-5-2, which I have kept in the regular formations was the vehicle actually used and the other two were not and those I've put into their own "Experimental" formation in the game under MISC and people can use them.... or not.....at their own discretion.
