Window mode
Anyway to play the game in window mode instead of fullscreen?

Not unless you run it under a virtual machine (such as Virtual PC) or Windows emulator (such as Wine)...

I use a dual-monitor setup for running the PBC turn...
SE4 only takes up the primary screen, and I borrow the second one from another PC to display the forum, spreadsheets and calculator.

I was hoping to be able to play se4 in windowed mode a few month ago, unfortunally my own thread didnt had a conclusion, too

I got it working windowed. But I'm using a second pc across a network controlled by RemClient. (Pc Anywhere like app) That probably doesn't count.

I've tried to do a trick - to launch se4 in the VNC session connected through the loopback interface to the same machine. Unfortunately it was toooooo slooooow to launch anything. That's pretty strange - I thought that vnc connection to the localhost should be fast as lightning. Do you guys have some advice how to speed it up?
