greater variety of neutral province troops?

I really enjoy the occasional battle against a neutral province that has unusual troops (bloodvines, mages, etc.)

Is there a mod that would increase the number and variety of these special encounters? This would make expansion a bit more varied, and battles more memorable.

I see that there is a "Better Independents" mod, but I believe this affects A.I.'s, not neutral province defenders...
