Want to play PBW, but donīt have the time...
Yeah, itīs like the title says, i want to play PBW games but thanks to my RL job i have a too inconsistent time schedule...
Basically, some weeks i can play everyday, other weeks i barely have time to play once, and my acess to the internet is limited to workdays, since i donīt have acess at home and use the internet connection at office...
I already joined a couple of games in the past only to have to drop them because i could not keep up with them...
If anyone know some game where the turns are ALPU and the other players donīt have any problem about one playe making a turn Last a week sometimes i would like to know, so i can join...
I prefer games with 6+ players (for a good variety in strategies) and i love to take over losing empires so i can fight "losing battles" and annoy the "big evil empires" with all manner of suicide and crazy attacks...
so, anyone know any game that fits my bill?
thanks in advance...

Create a own game with this settings, I'm certain that there are more people with the same problems regarding time and internet connection.

This might be your lucky day
The Pairs game has one (or maybe 2) openings. Turns are complicated and take quite a bit of time, but once a week will keep you in pace with the other players. Send me a PM or an e-mail if you are interested.

Re: Want to play PBW, but donīt have the time...
Talking from the other end of the player spectrum in Pairs, I agree it might be a good Idea. The open spot has the other pair already gone, so the rules reduce to no trading, no alliances on the honor system. The empire still left, while maybe not powerful, still has some size to it. At least from what I can see. It is smaller than it once was though.

Yes Pairs might be your game Makinus.
At the start of the game, I was fairly strict about keeping the turns going, but since I'm now in time shortage too, and my turns are taking an hour or more, and no-one else has mentioned speeding the turns up again, we are doing a turn a week (mostly).
You could perhaps take over Primitive empire, with Alneyan as your Partner, who from my side-lines is heavily engaged and has a shot at winning, or their is "Dinglehopper's Empire" which I've been told is in some trouble, but is 2 empires who have joined.
