Anyone using mods, and how do you like them?

Ordered the game and interested in what you think of adding mods to enhance the sim, thanks.

I like quite a few of the mods (mostly the White Noise Wierder Worlds mod, and the Added Content one's), but to be honest I mostly play it vanilla - that's what I got used to.
I personally prefer the mods that don't change the actual game, but just add more stuff ;-)

It'd be great if Digital Eel released some mods of their own.
Or a patch with extra content (hint)

I'm a bit disappointed they haven't released any more official content to be honest. A few extra features would show they're willing to support their community even months after the game's release.

As to other mods, I've tried a few but can't really be bothered with them. I really enjoy the Battlestar Galactica mod though. Can be fun playing the game as the Galactica, then stumbling upon 3 Cylon Basestars and managing to narrowly kill them all.
