Finally got it to run by installing the latest Nvidia drivers. Apparently Starfury did not want to play nicely with the 44.03 I had installed. Ah well, it works now, so I'm happy. ...

Have the latest DirectX. Have Detonator Drivers 44.03 (the latest ones have some problems with some of my other games). My sound card drivers are up to date.
My Video Card is a GeForce4 Ti 4600...
