I've never messed with a nebula either, but maybe try moving the ship to the exact center of the system, where the star normally is?

I've heard people talk about leaving satellites in uncolonized systems as a lookout, especially with cloaking tech. I agree that they're not much use for planet defense, I use fighters and weapons...

I think one thing that people are forgetting is that SEIV is not directed at the mainstream retail market. It's very much a niche product and MM very wisely kept production costs down by not hiring...
