Re: Where are the gas artillery rounds?
Iraq produced a few thousands of tons of various agents, such as various types of mustard, and used a fair portion of that, mostly against iranian troops. What fun must have been manning an iranian...

Re: Polish OOB 5.5
Fittings (ammo racks etc.) for a DP LMG were present, it was mounted on the cover rod or on the wall. I don't know how often it was used in practice though.

Re: Heavy artillery hit to vechicle, but vechicle not destroyed ?!
Well, as I said "some cases". The likelyhood that the sabot could hit something vital, even on a relatively "empty" APC is not small however. The engine/transmission won't like a sabot going throught...

Re: Heavy artillery hit to vechicle, but vechicle not destroyed ?!
I depends on how you define "difficulty". My experience is that they can survive, if with some damage, the odd sabot every now and then even.

Re: Heavy artillery hit to vechicle, but vechicle not desrtoyed ?!
Heavy artillery in a reality has no shrapnels.
Hex 50 m it isn't enough for protection from 155-203 mm round.
Tank turns over sideways or a back, and the infantry is broken off on pieces and...

Re: Heavy artillery hit to vechicle, but vechicle not destroyed ?!
Well, something like a modern sabot hitting, say, a M113 without dismounts might not indeed inflict much damage in some cases.
It could penetrate and exit without hitting anything vital (engine,...

Re: Penetration on a 10,5cm AT Gun
This (http://www.lonesentry.com/ordnance/10-5-cm-flak-38-39-multi-purpose-gun.html) can give you a starting point. Keep in mind though that this is a L52 (measured as rifled portion) barrel, not an...

Re: Polish OOB 5.5
No, but MT-LBs used as artillery tractors have racks for carrying ammunition internally (see an example here (http://www.flickr.com/photos/16498755@N07/5098897685/)). So while there probably may not...

One last thing (for this patch at any rate)
Formation 36 Recon Platoon
Initial availability date changed to 1/1958.
The first BTR-40s were apparently given to North Korea around 1958, in any...

Suhiir, those in the pictures are almost certainly the ex hungarian T-72s Iraq purchased a few years ago, rather than those which were purchased/assembled under Saddam. Neverthless a lot of pre 2003...

The problem with adding it is that in the game its advantages (guidance, mobility etc.) are not visible, as such systems are now off map only and "guidance" is simulated, to the extent it is...

Re: Fixes for the iraqi OOB
Sorry, what the picture shows is the Su-22 configuration when carrying a Kh-29 I was describing earlier: one kh-29, an ECM pod, a drop tank and a UB-32 rocket pod used as counterweight.

Re: Fixes for the iraqi OOB
That's the reasonthey switched to the Su-17. Actually more often than not aircraft of this vintage (Mig-21/Su-7) would go in combat with a couple of UB-16 rocket pods, which were as effective in...

Yes, the Kh-28 was the ARM of choice
I was not planning to raise this issue for this patch as in fact I am not entirely sure about initial availability date. 1984 does not sound too bad but it...

Re: Polish OOB 5.5
Note however that OT-34s were made throught the war, so it is not a given that there were many more of them at the end of the WW2 than OT-54/TO-55 at the end of their production run.

We discussed (http://208.84.116.223/forums/index.php?showtopic=24574) this in the past on tanknet (likely in some other thread as well IIRC). The conclusion was that somebody (likely at Jane's) at...
