anyway a kevlar vest was put on ballistic jell torso and even tho it stopped the bullet,the shockwave it made would've clearly made one uneffective for some...

Agreed light mortars are best used as direct fire more an suppressive combat rather than planned plotting,but they are there on the bombard screen if wanted for that purpose also.

A tight formation within shouting distance with leaders is best.
Nothing worse than having just the squads rally when out of contact and getting fire from everywhere.
Sometimes you'll have to stray...

You can still get a possible gang up kill however still, but takes more planning and skill.

you're not gonna find that on the pref. screen,
just set up your battle,then when the support screen comes up press view map.
There you can change turn length, visabilty, maps ect.

There's nothing in the SP world more distressing than having an ammo vehicle blow up whilst reloading.

I hardly ever get a river crossings in a campaign,you say you get several in sequence,means somethings wrong on your end.
It maybe a major PITA,but try uninstall,reinstall hope that helps.

Yeah, cooler heads is good idea.
It's just inane topic about smoke dischargers,which has almost none effect on game playabilty after all.
Too much time spent discussing on nothing at all, IMO.

Yeah,the trouble many have is wasted AT rounds used on soft targets when HE would have sufficed.
It does not make much difference in game anyway,as usually plenty AT ammo is availiable for AFV's....
