This leads me to another question on missiles...CSM missiles have the same damage no matter the range, once they hit then poof. But Plasma millies apparantly do less damage the further away you are,...

I am having the same problems with capture ships in a PBW game, using stock 1.49.
No matter how I edit strategies, in the combat simulator (also on tactical but set to auto) the ships always fail to...

Thanks ! The directory was there, but your hint turned me onto the real problem: the file it was trying to overwrite was marked read-only since I copied it from a CD with a backup of my SEIV...

Some excellent Last minute fixes, especially numbers 1, 2, and 4.
Now I just pray to god that ongoing PBW games will be compatible (upgradeable) to this patch...

The best strategy game ever made, for me, is still Civilization II. And in a few weeks, after 5 years of waiting, Civ III is coming out !...
