Along these lines, if i was simulating very low-tech poorly organised militia/insurgent types forces with minimal radio codes which could barely afford decent weapons and would have very few radios,...

Good point. If all the v-hexes are worth less than a company of M-1A2s then in modern era battles more points can be gained by beating up the enemy than by taking the objectives.

I can't help noticing how the AI always rather sensibly purchases a couple of ZPU-2 AAMGs and can deny most of the map to my gunships....

Thanks for clarifying that. I have found a solution by creating an "8x2.75in FFAR" weapon to go in slot 2 using the multiple weapon HEK multipliers in MOBHack help.

Do class 11 weapon behave...
