Re: Welcome Star Legacy Development Group!

To expand on the timed-stops theme:

Remember a REALLY OLD game called "BEGIN"?

In Begin, you piloted a starship of the Federation, Klingons, Romulans, or Orions, and your AI allies and...

Re: Ship Talk

Curved and pointy from SE4? With a dark, semi-cyborgish look to 'em? Yeah, that's the Xiati... their SE5 shipset isn't as good IMO as the SE4 one :P

Firing arcs? Well, it's not really decided if...

Re: Welcome Star Legacy Development Group!

Yeah, speaking of "open-ended ability possibilities", I'm pretty excited about using Python as a scripting language for this game... yes, a REAL language that people actually know and use every day!...

I was having the same trouble installing mods in the Steam version of Civ4; I eventually found out that they had to go here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\sid meier's civilization...

That is, instead of sending all players everything in the game every turn and relying on the client to filter out stuff that the player can't see, create an...
