My suggetion would be to remove the borders of tactical combat, keep the 30 turn combat limit, and set a retreat button that had all the ships run away from attackers. That way you can "outrun"...

Also check to see if under the empire options you have on the clear movement orders when you find an enemy ship and entery enemy space.

What I meant by additional movement is that if a fleet has 6 movement points and with 1 left gets into combat and then retreats. If that fleet gets to retreat more than 1 then it is getting...

There is a "misunderstanding" goign on about the patches I think. Currently the patchs are for things that are broken. It is possible that AI improvements may be included but I don't think...
