Also the 60mm mortar is really only good for suppression not killing. Also the AI will frequently attempt counter-battery on them so even if they don't hit a thing they reduce the AIs indirect fire...

APCalc is not a "live" programme - it does a snapshot of the saved OOB file and so knows you are working on say OB 007 so doesent reload it unless you manually change OOB and subsequently reload OB...

Big buildings use a particular larger graphic that is removed if the "key hex" is destroyed. Then the big building graphic goes away and is replaced by a 1 hex rubble graphic as with any other bult...

SAMs, especially early long range ones, can have signifigantly long minimum ranges. So long in fact that they will really only get shots as fixed wing planes enter the map - not when actually on map...

Also, think of the maximum size of a map in the game - is there any point in being able to fire past the usual diagonal across such a map - and be charged the points for that range by the OOB points...
