Actually, it seems that if the modifiers would set the space yard rate to less than 2000 resources per turn, it is set to 2000 resources per turn. When I have 40M population or so I have a -60%...

In Proportions, when I build a space yard II my production shoots up from about 500 or so per turn to 2000.

On huge domed planets, the facility slots fill up pretty quickly and you have to destroy a settlement to build a city, which can take many a turn without a space yard.

Err, what window and where is this upgrade button? I see an "upgrades" button in the construction que window for individual planets, but that's only for indivudal planets.

Well in my opinion, the nearly identical production of a new colony to a homeworld made little sense. 1M population produces 5/7th of what 4000M can do? And it also seems like Proportions still...
