				 AI using MCs
How do I get the AI to use master computers instead of regular C&C comps on its designs? Is the fact that MCs in my mod have a large size and use scale mounts to be variable in size for ships of different sizes a problem? |

 | Probably. The AI generally uses master computers as soon as they become available regardless of size or cost - at least with the traditional master computers. Try sizing them down and see what happens... |

 | They are small enough already... sizing them down won't happen. |

 | Usage of Cloak Level ability on MCs is lethal for AI. Tested. Reason: only Aaron knows. |

As in, the AI doesn't know what to do with such ships, or the AI can not use such components? I can always add an AI racial trait if necessary... ugh... |

				 Re: AI using MCs
Looks like a conflict between Master Computer and Cloak Level abilities. AI just won't use MC instead of piles of B/LS/CQ, although it should.
I removed Cloak Level from Autonomous Construct and AI use it without problems.

PS: nice cake (ex-pie)!
edit: it turned out, that it was a cake, not a pie. confusing. |

Why dont you just give the MC an ai tag ability and call for that ability in the designfile ? |

Oh i guess i know why, because B/L/C components are put first, before the calling for abilites begin. sry |
