What happens if ... ? (a couple specific game questions)

1- A mage that already "Lost one eye" puts on an Eye of Accuracy ? Does he become blind

? It'll make sense he put it in his "lost" eyeslot ...

2- A diseased, Twiceborn mage dies from the disease ? Does he become a Wight as should be ? (I've had strange experience with death from disease, in one case my stealthy prophet died this way while in enemy territory and I was never able to appoint a new prophet thereafter)
