Fast Troops Patrol Better? Ok but ...
But which movement type does this refer to? Strategic or combat? I hope and assume it is strategic as that would make Black Hawks good patrollers and that makes sense to me. I appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

Tactical movement, but fliers get a good bonus.

Are the Pangaea flyers still excluded from that?

on the other hand, animals get a penalty. One astral pearl for the one which give the exact patrolling value of a black hawk

Black Hawk and every flier that is set on patrol counts as 2 patrollers.
Thus CotWind counts as 42 Patrollers.
I want my Astral Pearl and some fries with that.

Really good to know! Thanks and keep it coming please. Do animals really not patrol as well? And, Gandalf, whats that about Pangaea's fliers not getting the bonus? I don't get the rationale.

Do undead have any pelanties for reducing unrest?
I had 4 squads of 32 summoned undead calvary under a bane lord and it took 3 turns to reduce unrest at all.

Mindless do not patrol well. Use ghouls instead.

I disagree. I frequently put the 40-60 longdead/souless from casting Army of the Dead on patrol in just-captured provinces and the unrest levels will drop 20-30 points on their first turn of patrol. I don't consider that shabby at all, especially for troops that cost no upkeep or food, and only 10 gems to create.
