Default Masking

This is a message I've been forwarded. It may be useful for race styles creators / graphic modders.
I've been finding that some masking errors appeared in some systems and didn't in some others. Here's why:

|It all depends on the color depth of the target system. If the system is
|at 32 bit color, your values will work fine. If its running 16 bit color,
|your rgb values will essentially be zero, and will mask.

masks perfectly in my computer, but not in other's. When I use shadows
RGB(10,10,10), these are masked ok in every system.

Default Re: Masking

Andrés, it could be a good idea to edit out that Pablo guys email adress so he won't get a bunch of spam. There are nasty little crawlers running around the web collecting email adresses from Posts on forums and newsGroups which are then used in spam mailing lists.

Aside from that, thanks for the info. I'm sure it will be useful to all the race style makers out there.
