Occam\'s Razor
Things are slowing down so I thought Id toss abit of humor in here.
I WANT OCCAM'S RAZOR
It must be a powerful weapon. I see it used for the finishing move in some of the most powerful battles in the newsGroups. This is an anti-pretender weapon? yes?
Personally I think that Horn of Cornucopia should have had the power to over-feed enemy troops. Make them too full to fight well. But thats beside the point.
Come on you know-it-alls. Get creative. What powers would an Occams's Razor have?

Re: Occam\'s Razor
Hmm, maybe have all its stats the same (5 att, 5 def, 5 prot 5 length) and teach it's weilder the Dispell spell.
If that's too powerfull, maybe it could cast 'Iron Will' or 'Gift of Reason'

Re: Occam\'s Razor
It would definitely need to give it's user magic resistance. Maybe also let you hit ethereal enemies?

Hmmm, when given the chance to strike at 2 different enemy target's, it automatically picks the less "simple" one... assuming the "simplicity" of a unit starts at zero and goes down by 1 for each special ability (eg: sacred, cold resistant, stealthy, etc...), magic skill level or heroic ability level.

Re: Occam\'s Razor
At the beginning of each battle, all troops beyond the first soldier of each troop type are destroyed.
Duplicate entities thus removed can be restored using a new nature spell, "Necessity".

Well, "Necessity", "Simplicity", that's the same thing, really... just 2 different ways to implement it.
