Hi, can i make starfury ships models using 3ds max then later on use it for SeV??

Don't really know that yet, based on what we have seen, SEV uses the same rendering engine, so ships should be directly compatible.

The thing is the polygon count needs to be lower for SEV, I'm willing to bet, because more ships will be on screen for SEV than SE SF

Good point, but I really think that with all the stars and objects appearing on map in starfury, with quite high polygon counts and high textures, I think SEV will be able to handle it. Then again, I haven't the slightest idea what the interface will look like.

Well, my advice is to try and keep the counts down... I have no solid number to shoot for, but try to offload details from polys to textures.

I would say, keep it down for now, and when released see how many the stock models use and have that as a base count
