Idea for SEV - sort of.
One of the biggest micromanagement hassles of SEIV is the sorting and filling the construction queues. I suggest an option in the constuction window - to mark some particulat planet/shipyard as "appear in the events log if empty". Basically, it will allow you to mark the essential construction places (up to your liking) and an easy access from the first window you see when processing a turn !!
Aahh ?

May be, but it was like a strike of lightning and I wanted to post it before it dissipated down my shoes

Re: Idea for SEV - sort of.
well, it sounds like a good idea, if only to remind you that the SY is there. your explanation is a bit confusing, though. that can happen with stuff that appears 'in a stroke of lightning'.

Re: Idea for SEV - sort of.
I think I know what he means. It would be nice to know when you're que is empty so you can go back and load it up again. Some que's would be longer than others, and once your empire expands somewhat, it does get harder to remember which planet is building what. Some sort of message on your log would be nice stating that planet X has an empty que.
