Ta Troopie. Do you have any pointers for weaponry? I have found references to French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese small arms, and one reference to their scant supply of 105mm artillery, as well as a field mod of a french APC ? The Cessna(?sp?) with rocket pods as well come to mind.
cheers

I've seen pix of Biafrans with SMLEs, Kar98s, FN-Fals, AK-47s, BM-59s, M1 Garands, and MAS-49s, and that was just rifles. Ammunition was short, thirty rounds per man was standard when available. Brens, MAGs, M-60s and MG-42s for support weapons. M20-Bazookas and homemade rockets for AT weapons. 81mm mortars with a few rounds. Use the guerrilla rocket unit for the ogbunigwe. This was a war rocket used in indirect and direct fire. The game can't model ujibongwe. This was a tripwire or command detonated boobytrap that could shred an entire rifle section that bunched up. Add homemade armoured personnel carriers and armoured cars, and flat bed lorries mounting 20mm or 40mm AA guns. Aircraft are B-26s, Vautour IIBs, a couple UH-1s used as bombers, Minicons mounting rockets, (a friend who was a mercenary said that a Minicon pilot, most of them Swedes btw, wasn't considered worth his beer and rations unless he could fly UNDER the top jungle canopy.) some Gloster Meteors and various odds and sods including IIRC a ME-109.
Tenth Codo mercs should be armed with FALs, Brens or MAGS, and RPG-2s or M-20 bazookas.
As you can see, one of the major problems with the Biafran military was the suicide rate among quartermaster sergeants.
