Problem with paratroops in pacific?
In the first battle I couldn't plot para-drops in the deployment stage due to the "scenario type". Plotting them on turn one had most of them arrive in turn 10 of a 12 turn scenario. Any idea what I'm doing wrong.

Re: Problem with paratroops in pacific?
The problem seems to be that the scenario type has been set as meeting engagement, rather than advance/delay encounter. With the changes in the latest version of the game, meeting engagements no longer allow for plotting preliminary bombardments (including spotter planes and air drops).
As a temporary workaround, you could try setting a priority target hex on the intended drop zone, and then aim all your paradrops around that. This would introduce only a couple of rounds delay until you get boots in the ground.

Works well enough to at least make it playable. Probably would be more elegant to change the battle type in the longer term.

I've made a note to look into this

Re: Problem with paratroops in pacific?
Here are the corrected campaign files. Just extract this to the winspww2/campaigns folder. You will now be able to drop the paras at the end of turn one as designed
