Is there going to be another patch for Gold? if so when? I Enjoy this game completely! (just one more turn) HEHEHE

As I've read, there will be another patch, including among its features great enhancements to CompEnhancements.txt (funny that!) - specifically, you can give a weapon mount a tech requirement, and a few other things. (Now if you could only put multiple mounts on a weapon... a Pulsed Fuel-efficient Overloaded Massive Base Mount Anti-proton beam sounds like fun to me! )

MM has been describing the problems with adding multiple damage types to a weapon. Apparently there would have to be a seperate listing of damage-at-range for each damage type. There's no way to add this to the UI display as it is designed, so it looks like this will have to wait for SE V or later.

Oh, that's a shame. It was one of the things I was really hoping for...
... well that's not entirely true, it's number 16 on my "hope for list" so I guess it was more something I was kinda hoping for.

It would have allowed for the creation of some very unique components however!

Edit: Is there a (vague) eta on the newest patch?
