Unfortunately, as the involved nations will have noticed, this turns' dispel attempt failed. So a big thank you goes out to everyone who wasted... erm... contributed their gems to the attempt.

Re: Troubling Times: Large EA CBM Game (Running)
I got hit by the flu bug, so instead of playing my turn I'll crawl into bed with my security blanket, teddybear*, and a big cup of soup. I'll be staying home from work tomorrow, so I should manage a turn during the day.
Incidentally, how is everyone with the hosting schedule? With various people asking delays for various reasons we hardly ever play a 48h turn anymore, but in itself that's no problem, I'm happy to grant extensions whenever needed, and switching to longer hosting times will just mean people ask for extensions 24h later, that's just the way it works.
So if anyone feels swamped feel free to speak up, otherwise I'll continue going as we have.
Edit: I obviously mean with my hot girlfriend in her skimpy underwear. I sooo do not own a teddybear anymore.

Re: Troubling Times: Large EA CBM Game (Running)
Yeah, right.
But well, in dominions world I can believe that we have people able to get into any relations with women :P
I'd rather not extend the schedule - we all want to to end ASAP so we can play it again with CBM 1.7 [or let's restart it now! :P]. And people tend to play turns only when they get reminder email...

Uh, this just got interesting!
Ermor, you do know that GoH doesn't help against BoT right?

Really? I don't know about Ermor, but I certainly didn't know that. considered casting it myself, acutally, but didn't go though with it in the end.
Edit: Also: Cool! An Eater of the Dead. I can't remember ever seeing one before. (In MP that is, I did use one myself once or twice in SP.)

Re: Troubling Times: Large EA CBM Game (Running)
GoH will remove afflictions caused by BoT. It won't stop the instant death effect, I don't think... I'm sure about the afflictions, though--I ran into it while testing various items against BoT.
I like the Eater of the Dead... He's so very interesting in gameplay. He can be stolen, can go rogue, and is quite powerful.

Re: Troubling Times: Large EA CBM Game (Running)
Speaking about Burden of Time...
I will have to request now a delay of 24 hours, too many job-related constraints until the end of the week.
I would be rather in favor of a permanent extension of delays, that would avoid the "constant rush" feeling. I am sure that if we get +24 hours, then people will not ask as many extensions...

Re: Troubling Times: Large EA CBM Game (Running)
I feel that it's better to grant extension on every other 2 turns than just permamently increase it.
Also:
Fomoria is buying fire, earth and air gems! We offer good prices - also forgings are available in exchange. We can forge almost everything!
