36 hours is bad as it means host time shifts by 12 hours every time, so people with a schedule(work, school, etc) need to find different times to do their turn each time, instead of reserving a certain period of the day whenever its available to do their turn each time. we're late enough in the game to warrant 48 hour turns anyway, heck some games would be on a 72 hour schedule at this stage in the game...
I don't understand this reasoning. You would need to submit the turn ASAP, but if you do, you could still play the turn at the same Time of day with an 36 Hour shedule.
Sometimes you would need to wait for the next day, but you could do it, if you want.
why would you need to submit the turn ASAP? that's a huge limitation already... sometimes you don't have the time right away, and need the delay. a 36 hour schedule basically means that once every 2 turns you lost a good 6-8 hours of potential dominions time due to sleeping. also for people who are used to do their turn each time at the same hour, these 12 hour shifts really make a difference. there's really no reason to keep turns away from normal whole day intervals, so 24, 48, 72, etc.

I think what he is getting at is that a lot of us have routines, and Dominions falls at a certain time every day. For example, some of us only have spare time at night, so let's say there is three hours worth of micromanaging; with 48 hours, I can be somewhat relaxed and do 90 minutes a day. With 36 hours, depending on where the time falls sometimes I'd get 90 minutes, sometimes I'd have to dedicate three hours.

So, it looks to me like the llamaserver decided, as it has been doing lately, to arbitrarily postpone our turn a day or two, which got everyone impatient and gave us the idea of 36 hour turns.

I agree with the 48 hour group, and will be keeping the turns there. If you object, buy more mages and micromanage more . the next few turns should still be alot faster than the last one...

48 hours blow, because the turn keeps 'creeping' forward during the day.

Also, who wants to sell me water gems. I have nature gems going cheap?

You fool! He has a 75% Forging discount! Don't give him anything that isn't 3:1 or you're getting horridly ripped off.

Make it 8 water gems for 24 nature!

Nosantee: Good point! That squid lover does inhabit the sea.

I demand 12 pounds of lobster, 10000 shrimp, and a speckled sea bass that sings Elvis tunes along with my nature gems you seaweed lover!

Hah! That'll show em!
