Sure it's annoying to have your favorite nation tweaked downward.
KO decided to make the game homologous to his particular aesthetic/sense of realism.
His game, he can do that.
If you don't like it... tell him,... and explain why...or better yet just mod the sucker.
The *very* unusual fact that you can send the designers email, with some expectation they will read it thoughtfully ... more than makes up for the occasional semirandom balance blip.
Machaka is still quite an interesting nation.
I personally would have brought WD's down to 75 and made sorceresses not capital only, so as to minimize the strategic disruption, but it's not an enormous deal.
IMHO there *is* too great a "power gamer" potentiality gap between pythium, arco, and ... everything else. (Communion abuse, large or small + affliction relief, (or hydras), which is too scarce generally to be so blithely handed out) But if the dev's don't mind, maybe I just haven't figured out the angles yet.
I also think a constuction 6 item, of moderate cost that grants recuperation... well, why the hell not? curse+paralyze still kills anything, and where it fails to kill recuperation just isn't that fast.
Anyway, I'm close to ranting, myself. The point is... learn to use the new machaka.
Fighting about the old one with anyone other than the Devs themselves, is a phenomenal waste of bandwidth.
Oh and another thing... precision is way too low for combat spells... especially that level zero PoS shard spell the AI loves.... *duck*
