"Godhood" game on mosehansen

My capital has all of three crappy neighbors, and I got staled turn 1.

i.e. I may not be competitive this time out.

Is there an automated way to let people know the game has started so some people don't lose the first turn in < 24 hour turn around games?

It's quite annoying.

Of course one could start the game oneself, but that limits the possibility of other players rather arbitrarily.
