Delete the figthers from CarrierBattles mod?

I'm wondering how many people would be interested in a PBW game as suggested by Tesco:

Carrier Battles. Minus the fighters.

The ships in CB are quite fully capable of doing everything on their own, but without the crutch of fighter support, things should get a lot more nasty and violent
