Ah, right. The XGP has only one turret to complement its two missile ports (which are only useful with guided missiles unless you've got a very careful aim, i'm afraid). I tried to model the ship after the Outlaw Star (of the series by the same name) which uses missiles for just about everything except point defense and ship-to-ship melee.
Still wondering if it might be possible to script grappler arms into the game.
