New posting abilities/lack thereof

Really not sure I like this new forum stuff. , Gone are the days of our Ranks, now there is a 'poster ranking' that apparently others vote for.(umm, hello popularity contest?), new abilities like 'add poster to ignore list' (whats up with that?, this board is virtually flame-free, why do we need an ignore button?). That and I hope Shrapnel gets the attachments working quick (that and I hope all the previous attachments are not 'lost', that would be a nightmare).

Hopefully I don't sound too much the whiner (what can I say, grumpy old man that dosn't like change .)
