well, if you have for example a reverse communion for evocation and one blood mage to reinvigorate the slaves. If the bloodmage casts before the others, they don't act this turn.

Or, more general, whenever you want your (few) superior masters to buff the (many) cheap slaves or cast big globals and want your slaves to act at the same time.
