Playing underdog forces?

Anyone have fun with playing with substandard troops sometimes?

The campaign I just started is 1939 Russians. I have 2 companies of conscripts, a platoon of 5 T26 with machine guns only, 2 maxim gun sections, 2 37mm AT gun sections and 5 82mm mortars.

I'll propably get my butt handed to me, but its fun to sometimes deal with a different tactical challenge
