That's why you used to get a few good tanks and the rest the cheapest you could afford, so that you upgrade them whenever you could.

I simply don't remember many things about how I used to play. Although I had the games and played, I mostly played Panzer General back then and a bit of Iron Cross (this one

(I was a seaman at the time) IIRC I couldn't afford to buy everything I wanted and there was a unit limit at the start of the campaign, so I had to buy cheap "useless" units to fill the limit and replace them later on. At least, that's what I remember, unless I am mixing memories with Iron Cross lol.
