Kilo means 1000 in some language, latin probably. A "Kilogram", 1000 gram. A Kilo Ton (kT), 1000 tons, or 1 000 000 kg (Kilograms) or 1 000 000 000 gram or 1 000 000 000 000 Mg (milligram)
