wow, development must be progressing MUCH faster than with SE4!

Guess it must be all those folks Aaron recruited - when he started on SE4, he was working alone, right? But then he started recruiting people...

edit: summer 2003 eh? wouldn't it be funny if this comes out before MOO3 it may not be SE5, but it's close...

maybe by the time this game comes out I'll have some money, and... hey, Amanda's birthday is in the summer, and she likes computer games and RPG's

wow... real 3D ships... in a SPACE EMPIRES game... just wait till SE5! wonder what those orange ships are, don't really look like any of the standard races...

Too bad some of those 3D planets and space stations look distorted still, pretty darn impressive!

Hm, we're now using the Stars! ship design formula, where you put items in slots? (See screenshot with description of Armor component)

You know, this explains why there hasn't been any SE4 patch in a while... with Malfador working on THIS

I have to admit this is more advanced than the Last Version I saw.

And I don't know if Aaron decided to go this route but Last time I discussed the game with him I had suggested a heavy "privateer" stance for the game, and he seemed to like that idea very much.

I just told Aaron about my post here regarding StarFury and I'm sure he'll drop by to check out the reactions. You can rest assured that Aaron is going to work his tail off to get the game out in time.

I really am looking forward to StarFury.
